The AA Lodge Mara is located in the heart of the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve in the south western part of Kenya. The lodge is ideally situated next to the Sekenani Main Gate, just ten minutes’ drive from the Siana Springs Airstrip.
The lodge is spread over 30-acres of land, uniquely laid out over the sprawling grounds that includes rolling manicured greens, a virtual mini-forest of indigenous shrubs and exotic trees, and a large swimming pool that overlooks the lodge bonfire, the main restaurant and bar.
The lodge has 36 cottages, a main restaurant, a bar and several dining options. The cottages are ultra-modern, made of glass walls and canvas roofs, with a private balcony and raised from the ground on pillars. Contemporary and super-stylish, all the rooms, offer comfort and luxury for a discerning business executive on the move, or a family on vacation. Guests have an option of choosing a king-size bed or twin single beds. Guests can connect to the world outside with the power of wireless internet access at all our hotels public areas.
There is a conference hall with a capacity of up to 250 delegates and numerous outdoor venues for dining and leisure. There is a lobby at the reception for relaxation after a long drive to the lodge as guests are served with welcoming drink and face towels. The entire camp is surrounded by a 24-hour electric fence and highly trained security personnel. In addition, it has its own well equipped safari vehicles with excellent guides.
