Being the home to over 200 different species of birds and tree hyraxes this log-cabin based lodge has been “The base for Climbing Mt. Kenya” due to the proximity to the mountain and the tailor made Mountain climbing itineraries backed by the experienced guiding and porters team.

Flanking a part of the famous Naro Moru River, the lodge swanks of a vast surrounding covered by indigenous bush that give the ambience uniqueness needed for couples, families, team building and conferences with unrivalled fragrance from its gardens. The lodge is also ideal for honeymooning couples wanting to start their marriage bliss in a natural quiet surrounding.

It is certainly the pedestal for anyone wishing to conquer the second highest mountain in Africa with experienced guides and porters for both amateur and professional climbers. Equipped with different mountaineering packages, the lodge customizes any requests for tailor-made mountain climbing ranging from a day trip to weeks (in research related climbing). Naro Moru Lodge – Accommodation

Naro Moru Lodge hotels offers a range of accommodation that is to be found nowhere else in Kenya in keeping with the origins of the hotels. There are 19 deluxe cottages with 2 double beds, bathrooms and toilet and firehotels with sitting room area all elegantly furnished in pine 12 standard cottages with double and single beds and separate bathroom and toilet and 12 self service cottages of varying sizes geared to the family holiday. 12 standard, 10 superior, 12 Deluxe, 7 Cottages, 5 country homes, bunkhouses and campsite. Rooms feature twin bed, private bathrooms & shower in most.

Deluxe have firehotels and balcony. Interconnecting rooms available.
Cottages have fully equipped kitchens. Check out 12:00pm.The present structure of the main building of the hotels comprises the cheerful dining room all in wood, the wonderfully cozy bar with pub like atmosphere and roaring fire every evening, the conference centre and video room and the mountain equipment centre.

MEETING ROOMS
Naro Moru River Lodge has three meeting rooms including one board room. The Makutano room is the biggest with a maximum capacity of 120 delegates seated in theatre style. Mt Kenya complex has a capacity of 60 in theatre style while the boardroom sits 15 delegates at a round table.

Nelion Restaurant

· Ala Carte snacks are available from 11.00am to 6.00pm
· Table d’Hôte or Buffet lunch is served from 12.30pm to 2.30pm depending on number of clients
· Dinner from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
